All Ages

Tap is a wonderful dance genre that develops musicality using different rhythms, accents and heavy and light shades. Tap is best taken with Jazz, as this will help the students to pick up the steps and combinations easier.

Classes for Tap are broken up by age groups, READY SET DANCE for ages 2-5 years, Little Sparks Tap 6-8 years, Junior, Pre-Teen, Teen and Senior.

TAP EXAMS

Students also have the option to undertake Tap Exams through Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance if they wish, the work will be learnt in classes, so it will not involve an extra class.

Exams are optional however they do provide a great foundation for sound technique and are great for all students whether they wish to sit for an exam or not.
